I have arranged these portraits from good to bad, to ugly, in my evaluation. You may re-order them in your mind according to your preconceptions, but I think live whales are good and dead whales are ugly. The first and last photos are of the same whale (foreground), before and after anthropogenic influence, i.e. bombing.
